BELLE FOURCHE—Highmark Credit Union partnered with the Belle Fourche Chamber of Commerce to host the August Chamber Mixer on August 14.
In addition to it being the monthly Chamber gathering of businesses, it was a celebration for Highmark Credit Union. They created a festive atmosphere to recognize their 85th year in business!
Of course cake was served for the big honor, plus Rollin in the Hills food truck kept everyone fed with delicious egg rolls but instead of traditional filling, there was quite a variety including Philly cheesesteak, crab cake, Jalapeno Popper and a couple of sweet rolls. The rolls are crispy on the outside and filled with unique flavors on the inside! Bottles of dipping sauces were offered to go along with the sweet and savory snacks.
Refreshments including lemonade, bottled water, soda and adult beverages were provided.
All kinds of swag was handed out, from dog toys to notebooks and bottle openers and many other items. Door prize drawings were also held.
Before cutting the cake, Mindy Howard, President and CEO, thanked everyone for coming to celebrate. “I want to say thank you to everybody for being here. We do get to celebrate our 85th anniversary this year at Highmark! Being in the community that long has been a great blessing for all of us and I hope for all of you as well,” she said.
Michaela Horn, Executive Director, Belle Fourche Chamber of Commerce reminded everyone of the upcoming Chamber events including Ag Day, sponsored by Wolff’s Plumbing and Heating, on September 27 at the Roundup Arena.
The Connect and Collect drawing is a chance for all Chamber members to win some extra cash. All you have to do is be present to win. The prize pot is up to $345.00. This month’s winner was Belle Estates. No one from that business was on hand, so the money will be rolled over to next month.
The next Chamber Mixer is set for September 23 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Black Hills Title.
