BELLE FOURCHE –– Homecoming week is upon us and the students and community are gearing up for the excitement, culminating in a Friday varsity football game against Chamberlain. The week is packed full of activities, costumes, and gearing up for the big game.
The theme of this year’s Homecoming is “Blockbuster Movies,” and involves dress-up days for each day of the week along with activities for students. The high school crowned its homecoming king and queen during Monday’s coronation. The court was comprised of the following students: Rexton Audiss, Lane Krautschun, Harley Rivera, Jordan Sandoval, Logan Tyndall, Nolan Wahlfeldt, Jacie Baxendale, Reese Larson, Sloan Young, Mataya Ward, Shaine Weishaar, and Katelyn Lee.
On Friday, Homecoming week activities will be capped by the parade at 2:30 p.m. before the evening football game at 6 p.m. Keep an eye out for photos and more information about homecoming in upcoming issues of the Beacon.
