Shirley Speaks Foundation,

BELLE FOURCHE—The Shirley Speaks team is overwhelmed with gratitude after the incredible success of this year’s Butterfly Wishes & Chocolate Kisses event. Thanks to the generosity of our community, we welcomed a fantastic turnout and raised more than $7,000 to support domestic violence survivors in our region.

One of the most meaningful moments of the day was our live butterfly release. Each butterfly represented hope, healing, and transformation, and we were thrilled to watch the butterflies take flight – a beautiful reminder that, with support and encouragement, new beginnings are possible.

Guests also enjoyed sampling a variety of delicious chocolates, spending time together, and learning more about the mission of Shirley Speaks. The event was filled with laughter, connection, and a shared commitment to making a difference in the lives of survivors.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended, volunteered, donated, sponsored, and helped make this event possible. Your kindness and generosity ensure that Shirley Speaks can continue providing hope, healing, resources, and support to individuals and families affected by domestic violence.

Together, we are proving that when a community comes together with compassion, lives can be transformed – one act of kindness at a time.

From all of us at Shirley Speaks, thank you for believing in our mission and helping us continue this important work.
