The Belle Fourche Monument Health United Way Group (Nikki Hoyme and Clint Haffner) and the Belle Fourche Global Methodist Church are teaming up for an upcoming Litter Walk event.
On Saturday, July 11 from 8:00-10:30am, we are coordinating a community wide litter walk. We are inviting the public to meet at the church where they will receive garbage bags, gloves and choose an area where they would like to focus their efforts.
We are going to encourage people to clean up along the parade route. Even though it’s a week after the parade, there always seems to be stuff lingering.
Refreshments will be served starting at 10:00. We are planning this to be a family friendly activity where parents and grandparents, etc. can nurture civic care for our community and the Lord’s creation.
