There was a Vitalant Blood Drive held in Newell, SD on Monday, December 1, 2025 at the Newell Christian Fellowship Community Hall. It was hosted by the Whatever It Takes Coalition.
WIT members Sabrina Harmon and Judy Heisler greeted donors when they came in. Jennifer Ash, the Vitalant Coordinator reported that it was a great blood drive! The goal was met!
They wanted at least 25 units and we were able to collect 26. There was 19 whole blood units collected at the Newell Blood Drive, and one donated in Rapid City that gave credit to Newell, and 3 doubles units collected. There was 3 First Time Donors! Jennifer thanked us for our dedication to saving lives.
