Lady Bronc Basketball Starts Off with a Win

On Tuesday, December 9th the Lady Broncs hosted Lead-Deadwood at home. The Broncs scored the first basket by Denali Larson to start the game off and kept the lead at the end of the first quarter at 15-6.

In the second quarter the Lady Broncs scored an additional ten points to end the first half at 25-6. The third quarter saw Danali Larson with a 3 pointer, followed by two baskets by Emma Nehl and another three pointer by Kora Knapp for a 37-9 lead at the end of the third. In the fourth quarter the Lady Broncs scored 11 more points to Lead-Deadwood’s 9 for a final score of 50-21 for the Varsity team.

Lead scorers were Raegan Hatling at 12 points, Emma Nehl at 10 points, and Mya Nowiejski and Denali Larson each scoring 8 points. Kora Knapp scored 6 points for the team with Payton Richardson at 4 points and Mya Bush with 2 points.

he Lady Broncs travelled to Spearfish with a loss of 33-50 for varsity, and an 8-38 loss for the JV.

The Lady Broncs play in Phillip on Tuesday, December 16th then at the Stateline Shootout in Lead on Friday December 19th verse Sundance and Saturday December 20th verse Newcastle.
