The U.S. Air Force Academy Band performed a free, family-friendly concert at Belle Fourche on July 1st as part of their “America the Beautiful:A Fourth of July Celebration” Concert.
The United States Air Force Academy Band proudly performed in the bandshell at Herrmann Park to begin the South Dakota portion of their 2025 Summer Tour.
This inspiring, family-friendly concert series celebrates our nation’s values, unity, and resilience through the power of music.
The performance features patriotic favorites, American classics, and selections from jazz, pop, and country genres, something for all ages and musical tastes. The performance was free and open to the public.
Midway through the band took a short rain delay and resumed play on the then perfect evening in the park.
This tour in addition to Belle Fourche included: Laramie, WY. June 29; Gering, NE June 30;Rapid City, SD July 2; Mount Rushmore National Memorial, July 3 & 4.
As the only Department of Defense premier band located west of the Appalachian Mountains, the USAF Academy Band provides year-round support to the United States
Air Force Academy and the more than 4,000 cadets in the cadet wing, helping develop outstanding leaders of character who will serve our country as officers in the United States Air Force and United States Space Force. The Academy Band maintains a rigorous performance schedule in support of Cadet and Air Force troop morale, recruiting and community outreach.
