Sierra Kilts originally of Kaycee, Wyoming had her debut season as the new head coach of the Belle Fourche Broncs Varsity volleyball team.

Coach Kilts has over a decade of playing volleyball under her belt, including playing for Norwest College in Powell, Wyoming.

She was the team captain in 2024 and earned National Junior College Athletic association Academic All-American honors.

She brings with her a passion for the sport and new drills to foster team growth.

The Broncs had 6 wins in their 2025 season with Kilts who stated, “the wins and losses column doesn’t directly reflect the improvement the girls have made as both a team and as individual athletes.

This is a really young team and I’m really proud of how hard this group of girls worked to get better both mentally and physically.

Volleyball is just as much a mental game as it is a physical game and that’s something we tried to focus on a lot this year, changing our mindset.”

Kilts plans on returning next season and says, “I’m excited to see what the future holds for this program. There’s a lot of athletes in the high school and middle school right now and those athletes are excited to learn and get better and that is really encouraging to me as a coach.”
