Bronc Basketball at Stateline Shootout

The Bronc Basketball teams headed to Lead for the State Line Shootout December 20th. Due to the inclement weather that blew through the area, Newcastle was unable to make the shootout to compete against the Broncs.

The teams took on Sundance as scheduled. The Bronc boys came out with a 57-40 victory for their first win of the season. Leading scorers were Sern Weishar with 12 points, followed by Ben Raba and Tatum Martin, both with 10 points, and Gabe Raba with 9. The Broncs led at the conclusion of each quarter to pull away with a 17 point lead at the conclusion of the game. The Broncs play next at home against New Underwood on Tuesday, December 30th with a 6pm start time.

The Lady Broncs fell to Sundance in their game 50-60. Leading scorers for the game were Denali Larson with 19 points, 3 of them 3 pointers, Emma Nehl with 11 points, and Raegan Hatling with 10 points.

The Lady Broncs travel to Madison for their next game on Friday January 2nd with their first game at 4pm central time and the varsity game to follow at 6:30pm central time. The Madison Classic will follow on Saturday, January 3rd with times to be determined. Their next home game will be Monday, January 5th with a 4pm tipoff.
