The Broncs travelled to Madison on Saturday December 20th for a tournament with some of the team out for illness and injury, they still had a good day on the mats with 3 Broncs making the podium.
Caden Swaney placed 3rd at 106lbs with an avenged win over the competition he lost to at the Rapid City tournament, while Cooper Conrey placed 5th at 126lbs.
For the Lady Broncs, Kyra Vandenberg placed 2nd at 100lbs.
The Madison tournament provides some competition the Broncs only see once per season, allowing for some variety in matches.
The team held their final practice on Monday December 22nd before the mandatory moratorium or “lockout” for the holiday season.
Coach Cory & Coach Nate had some fun challenges and games for them at this practice including tic tac bow and blind snowman drawing on plates atop their heads as well as some fun workout games.
