Belle Silver Lining Hosts Annual Chili Feed Fundraiser

Belle Fourche News Other Local News

BELLE FOURCHE—The holiday season is in full swing in Belle Fourche! The community came together to support another fantastic organization on Friday, November 28, at the Community Hall.

For the sixth year, Belle Silver Lining hosted its annual Chili Feed fundraiser, warming up attendees before they headed out into the chilly evening to enjoy the Parade of Lights. Turnout was spectacular! We served over six roasters of chili,” said Mary Riley, Events Coordinator.

While attendees enjoyed chili, crackers and refreshments, the Belle Fourche Cowboy Band filled the hall with music. The Cowboy Band, all of them, were there! It was a full stage performance,” shared Riley. We were packed. It was a full house!”

The event collects a free-will donation for the food and entertainment—though they would never turn anyone away. Every dollar raised goes back to support Belle Silver Lining and its programs.

For the little ones, Santa and Mrs. Claus made an appearance, with Photos by Connie Snow on hand to capture the magical moments.

Looking ahead, Belle Silver Lining invites you all to enjoy Caramel Rolls and Coffee every Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. for a suggested donation of $3, and to participate in BINGO on January 6 at the Branding Iron Steakhouse. They are always looking for volunteers; if you are interested, reach out and get involved!
