BELLE FOURCHE—A new month brought about a new opportunity for the business community to come together and connect at the monthly Chamber Mixer. This month, the Mixer was hosted by Belle Flowers & Co.
Belle Flowers & Co. provided snacks and refreshments for everyone to enjoy as they networked and caught up on the goings-on of each other’s businesses. The store was abuzz with laughter and conversation, as well as shopping and discovering what offerings Belle Flowers & Co. has for future shopping endeavors.
Michaela Horn, Chamber executive director, was on hand to welcome everyone. “Well, thank you guys for coming to the Belle Fourche Chamber Mixer. Thank you Belle Flowers & Co. for hosting us. Great job,” she said.
Horn went on to remind the crowd of the upcoming Chamber of Commerce Annual Banquet on Friday, February 13 at the Community Hall. The event begins at 5 p.m. and will be followed by the celebration of the 115th birthday of the Belle Fourche Chamber. Contact the Chamber for tickets.
The Connect and Collect drawing is held at every Chamber Mixer. It is an incentive to come to the mixers. You must be a Chamber member to win and you must be present to collect it. Thus far, there has not been a lucky winner at the event. This month was the same outcome—Taco John’s was the winner, but no one from the business was on hand to claim the cash. The $365 pot rolls over to the next mixer.
The next Chamber Mixer will be February 17 at Belle Chiropractic & Massage. It begins at 4:30 p.m. and runs through 6:30 p.m. Everybody is invited.
