Holiday Spirit and Camaraderie Shine at Pasque Ladies Fashion Show

BELLE FOURCHE—An evening of holiday cheer and celebration of women, by women, and for women was the underlying theme for the Pasque Ladies Fashions Holiday Fashion Show on November 6.

For the third time, Pasque Ladies Fashions was open late and transformed from a storefront into a fashion runway lined with chairs and surrounded by good cheer—a good time was had by all. With only 32 tickets available for the exclusive evening, everyone who entered was treated like a VIP.

The event showcased women from the area working together to support each other in camaraderie rather than competition. From the MC to the bartender to the models, everyone came together from other professions and businesses to bring an exciting evening to those in attendance. It’s community over competition—I make sure that we talk about all the ladies and their businesses,” said Michelle Evans, Pasque Ladies Fashions owner.

Brittany Wilkinson, owner of Belle Flowers and Co., served as bartender and jumped in and helped wherever she could. Brianne Bonnet from the Chamber of Commerce served as the Master of Ceremonies and kept the evening moving along. She introduced everyone, told jokes, provided community information, and kept everyone at ease.

The audience was filled with ladies ready for a holiday show. As each lady found a seat, she was greeted with a red holiday stocking that contained presents inside. A ticket for door prizes, coupons for discounts, candy from Pearson Block Candy Shop, and slipper socks were all stuffed inside.

The stocking and the cute items inside highlighted the new stocking stuffer bar that Pasque is debuting this holiday season. Everything on the bar is under $20. We have a stocking stuffer bar, and I’ll have the stocking stuffer bar loaded up all November and December, and we will be open Black Friday. Look for the Black Friday sales,” said Evans.

In the spirit of supporting each other, Evans took a few moments to introduce the owner of one of the newest businesses on State Street, Elizabeth Anns Bridal. We would like to start this off with just a quick blurb from our newest business on State Street. We would like to bring you Hannah, and she is with Elizabeth Anns Bridal. We welcome you and appreciate you,” said Evans.

As the audience awaited the fashion show to begin, they were treated to pretzel and nut cups, fancy individual charcuterie boxes, and desserts. Specialty drinks were served.

The music started as the models began showcasing all the outfits available at Pasque for the fall and winter seasons. The crowd was treated to 36 different outfits, some of which were first looks—meaning they were first seen at the show and available after the show.

All of the models in the show were either business owners, workers, or volunteers in the community. The ladies who strutted down the catwalk included: Pat Main, MiKayla Boswell, Melissa Scofield, Andrea Fayville, Cassie Pannone, Julie Snoozy, Linda Dreiske, Jenny Gaaskjolen, Maria Ellendorf, Heather Stein, Michaela Horn, and Michelle Jensen.

The fashion show consisted of three rounds, with each model wearing different outfits. While the models were changing, drinks were refilled, and door prizes were given away.

The audience enjoyed the program and often broke out into applause and cheers for each model. We would like to thank everybody, all of our wonderful models for assisting us. We find a lot of these women working hard and supporting local businesses or being volunteers in the community, so we appreciate them in all aspects of what they do,” said Bonnet.

One final round focused on what goes along with the outfits. This round we are focusing on the accessories. The accessories can be found here! Some may be found at the stocking stuffer bar—you never know what they might bring out. Take a look,” said Bonnet.

The evening was a nice time for women to get together and just enjoy each other. I don’t think we take the time as women to slow down and take advantage of events like this and go to them, be with your friends, be a part of it, because we always have a reason not to do it. Im already thinking about spring—I already have a couple of fun ideas, some surprises, hopefully some really good shocker surprises—Ill always continue doing it,” explained Evans.

It’s a lot of work, but then when you have everybody come through the checkout aisle and say this was so fun! Thank you so much—all that work, all the pain, it just kind of disappears, you know? And I like doing them. I really, really, really, really like doing them!”
