BELLE FOURCHE—The Chamber of Commerce teamed up with Black Hills Title Company to not only host the monthly Chamber Mixer, but also to take the opportunity to christen their new space with a Ribbon Cutting at their new home located at 1903 5th Avenue.

The business community and the public turned out to celebrate the event on September 23 and check out the new building and office space.

Everyone gathered outside in front of the building to hear Travis Martin, Title Operations Manager say a few words before cutting the ribbon. Martin thanked everyone for coming out and said, “It was a long process to get it done and we’re just happy that building was vacant and that we were able to move in here and it’s not red anymore! It looks way different inside! We’re happy we got parking, we got places for everybody. Thanks for the community support, and we’re happy to be a member of the Chamber. They do a great job! So we appreciate it!”

Michaela Horn, Chamber Director commented, “The building looks amazing. Thank you for coming out to celebrate the new building and the move for Black Hills Title.”

After the ribbon cutting the crowd went back inside the building to tour the new space and visit with fellow business associates. High Plains Restaurant created an amazing charcuterie layout that included of a variety of meats, cheeses, fruits, vegetables, crackers, breads, dips and bacon wrapped shrimp along with many other delicious treats. A selection of refreshments was served as well.

Every month during the Chamber Mixer the Connect and Collect drawing is held. This month the pot was at $325. A name is picked from a bucket containing the all the names of the Chamber members. This month Joe Dirt won. Unfortunately there was no one from that business on hand to collect the cash. You must be present to win. Now the pot increases and rolls over to next month!

The next Chamber Mixer is scheduled for October 16 and will be hosted by 605 Media and Entertainment and held at the Belle Fourche Country Club from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The public is invited to attend this Mixer. Come and meet the business community!
