On Tuesday, July 1st a group of peaceful, non-violent local citizens gathered in front of the courthouse in Belle Fourche.
Sponsored and organized by the Belle Fourche Pro-Democracy Squad, the event was attended by a variety of participants.
All people interested in promoting democracy regardless of party affiliation or political ideology were encouraged to attend.
The Belle Fourche Pro-Democracy Squad seeks to promote Democracy in America.
They believe in protecting the constitution, and advocating government programs that benefit all Americans.
Participants were asked to bring a sign and stand up for democracy.
