NEWELL—Newell High School’s sophomore class hosted a Carnival Fun Fair at the middle school gym on Friday, April 26. The gym was transformed into an entertainment center full of carnival game favorites, including tic-tac-toe frisbee, darts, face painting, bowling, bottle rings, a cake walk, and plenty more. Tickets were sold at the door to take part in the wide variety of games, and tokens were given to participants at each gaming station. In arcade fashion, these tokens could then be exchanged at a prize table full of rewards.
The freshman class also sold walking tacos at the carnival.
Funds raised from the event will go towards the prom next year.
