The Area I and II Spring Community and Family extension Leaders will be held on Friday, April 26, 2024 in the NVN Senior Center, 120 3rd St, Newell, SD, starting with registration between 9:30-10:00 AM. The theme is “Bloom with Grace”. Everyone is invited to attend the meeting. Speakers will include at 11 AM, Mental Awareness and Resources by Patty Aurand, Mental Health Counselor, Behavior Management and 1 PM “How to stay in your home longer”, Leacey E. Brown, SDSU Extension Gerontology Field Specialist. Other events will include Chair yoga exercise Sara Weishaar, silent auction, book, and puzzle auction.
Lunch will be served with a small charge.
Area I and II include Perkins, Harding, Butte, Lawrence and Meade Counties.
