SPEARFISH—Generosity took the driver’s seat in Spearfish as community members gathered at White’s Canyon Ford to turn a simple test drive into something much more meaningful. Ford’s Drive 4UR Community event was held on Saturday, September 26.
The day was an invitation for the community to come together and support giving back. The dealership hosted a day of activities that included food trucks, vendors and special children’s activities. Door prizes and raffles were also up for grabs throughout the day.
There was no purchase necessary. There was no sales pressure. There was just the opportunity to give 15 minutes of your time to support United Way of the Black Hills and take a brand-new car for a test drive! Ford donated $30 for each eligible test drive taken during the event.
All of the money raised from the event stays in the Northern Hills to benefit programs in this area. By the end of the day, $2,910 had been raised.
