Halloween Festivities Fill the Calendar

Belle Fourche News Butte County News Newell News Other Local News

BELLE FOURCHE—It’s time to dust off those Halloween costumes and get ready for a spooky season filled with tricks, treats and enough candy to last well into next year! With longtime favorites like the CONBA Halloween Parade and Costume Contest and newcomers like Wareing Motors joining the festivities, there are plenty of opportunities to show off those costumes more than once this Halloween season.

New to the Halloween lineup this year is Wareing Motors, hosting a Trunk or Treat on October 29 from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. They are creating a special evening for kids and their families. McKenzie Quigley is in charge of setting up the event at Wareing Motors and encourages everyone to wear their costumes!

Of course, a big parking lot full of cars lends itself to a special Trunk or Treat celebration. “We’re going to clear the main lot, the paved lot, and move all of our vehicles out to make room for the businesses to come in and set up their trunk or treat. Wareing is going to do one—a big one for the kids,” explained Quigley.

So far, they have about eight businesses signed up to offer a trunk-or-treat booth and would love to have a few more trunks to make the event as spectacular as possible for the kids. Reach out to Quigley at 406-672-3055 to reserve your trunk space. They will be giving an award for the best-decorated vehicle at the event.
