BELLE FOURCHE, S.D.— April 21, 2026—Jeff Morford has joined First Interstate Bank as a Community Branch Manager. In this role, Morford is responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships utilizing the full spectrum of banking services.
Morford has 37 years of experience in the financial industry, previously serving in various community banking and loan servicing roles at several banks, including FMS Bank, Morgan Federal Bank, Community First National Bank, and First Security Bank. He holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Black Hills State University and completed the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Colorado where he also earned an Executive Leadership certification.
“I am excited to support our employees, build strong relationships with our clients, and continue to serve local businesses,” Morford said.
Morford has dedicated his spare time in several volunteer roles such as Council Member for the City of Fort Morgan, Board Member for Northeastern Colorado Revolving Loan Fund and Fort Morgan Volunteer Fire Department, and President and Director of Fort Morgan Community Hospital Foundation and Fort Morgan Chamber of Commerce. He was also a recipient of the American Legion Public Service Award. Outside of work and volunteering, he enjoys riding his motorcycle, working in the yard, and spending time outdoors fishing and hunting.
