On Monday February 9th, three Belle Fourche High School Seniors signed with various colleges an intent to play football.
Spencer Bush-Graslie committed to play football at Dakota State University in Madison, South Dakota. Spencer plans to pursue a career in business management or teaching. Spencer would also like to get into coaching after his playing days are over he states.
Spencer has been playing football for roughly 10 years, “I started playing in second grade with the Cardinals after Jesse Kracht talked my parents into letting me play,” Spencer recalls.
His favorite football memory would be playing Custer this past season as it was Coach Sweet’s first “road win”.
Spencer’s advice to up and coming players is, “Be relentless in everything you do and play with perfect effort.” Spencer is looking forward to being a Trojan.
Emitt Lipp committed to play football at Black Hills State University as an Offensive Lineman.
He plans to major in Biology and eventually get his Masters. Emitt started playing tackle football in 1st grade and has been playing ever since.
His favorite football memory is scoring a touchdown as a lineman. Emitt’s advice to up and coming players is, “Stick to the program. Be dedicated.”
Emitt is looking forward to being a Yellow Jacket.
Gavin Pearson committed to play football at Dickinson State University.
He plans to major in Agriculture Business. Gavin has been playing football for around 10 years.
He started playing flag football when he was young then in 5th grade began his tackle football career.
Gavin’s favorite football memory is playing his Senior year homecoming game verse Lead- Deadwood.
Gavin’s advice for up and coming players is, “don’t only focus on football during the season, but take it seriously in the off season.” Gavin is looking forward to being a Blue Hawk.
