Coffee Mini-Exhibit Opens at Tri-State Museum

BELLE FOURCHE—A brand new mini-exhibit just opened at the Tri-State Museum and Center of the Nation Visitors Center. A reception was held on January 17 to celebrate the latest offering.

If you love coffee, or if you ever wanted to learn about coffee, then this is the perfect exhibit for you. but first…Coffee is an extensive display of all the different aspects of coffee, from basic facts about the coffee bean, to its origin in Bonga, Ethiopia, to why we take coffee breaks and even where to get a good cup of coffee in the area. There is so much to see and learn at the exhibit.

There is a special area for kids to discover and books to read about coffee, plus a free take-home packet full of activities, games and facts to learn.

Red Onion Marketplace provided coffee cupcakes for the event and the Museum provided fresh hot coffee.

Make sure to plan a trip to the Tri-State Museum to explore the mini-exhibit, but first…Coffee, because the mini-exhibits do not stay around long. This one runs through April 11, 2026.
