On Thursday January 22nd the Broncs honored 4 Seniors ahead of a duel against Rapid City Stevens. The 4 Seniors included, Spencer Bush-Graslie, Riley Dighton, Garet Huston, and Dylan Park.

Spencer expressed his favorite wrestling memories were watching the Chadron State College duels and hanging out with friends during tournaments. His future plans are to attend Dakota State University where he has signed on to play football & plans to major in Business management.

Riley expressed his most memorable moments in wrestling as upsetting the #3 seed at the state tournament to advance to the finals round. His future plans are to attend college, but has not decided where.

Garet’s most memorable wrestling moment to date is winning his second match at state his Junior year and seeing his coaches and teammates so excited for him. His future plans are to spend the summer after graduation working as a Wildland Firefighter with the US Forest Service in Bigfork, MT, then attend college in Montana in the fall majoring in Business Administration.

Dylan’s favorite wrestling memory is winning Black Hills Conference as a team in 2025. Dylan plans to pursue his love of fitness and music by developing his own fitness program. Good luck Broncs Seniors!

The Belle Fourche AAU program hosted a duel against the Stevens Raiders AAU wrestlers to open the evening Thursday. The Raiders came up on top in points for both the AAU and the High School duels.

On Friday, January 23rd, the Broncs teams headed to Chadron State College to watch the Chadron Eagles compete in a duel.

The high schoolers express enjoying getting the opportunity to watch the college competition including some former wrestling friends. On Saturday they went on to compete in the Chadron Invitational.

The Broncs saw new competition from Colorado, Nebraska, Wyoming and some South Dakota schools they do not meet often.

The Broncs had 4 wrestlers place this weekend at the invite, the Lady Broncs had one make the podium for top 4 and two ladies place top 8. Riley Dighton placed 3rd, Luke Tonsager placed 2nd and Caden Swaney earned Champion in their respective weight classes for the boys, while AnnaBelle Dighton and Charlie Huston each placed 5th and Kyra Vandenberg earned Champion in their respective weight classes for the Lady Broncs.

The Broncs wrestle next in Sturgis for a duel on Thursday, January 29th, followed by the home invitational on Friday, January 30th and Saturday, January 31st.

The Ladies will compete in the Belle Fourche Rec Center gym, while the boys will compete in the high school gymnasium.

The Belle Fourche AAU club will host their home invite on Sunday February 1st at the Belle Fourche High school gym.
