Looking Ahead with Confidence
As We Head into 2026 The start of a new year always makes people pause. Sometimes that pause comes with optimism. Sometimes it comes with a little uncertainty. In rural communities, it is usually a mix of both. As we move into 2026, I want you to know this. CBH CO-OP is focused on being steady, prepared, and dependable. That has not changed, and it will not change. When you rely on us for propane in the middle of winter, fuel for your operation, feed for your livestock, or even a quick stop at one of our stores, you are trusting us with something important. We take that seriously. Thank you for continuing to trust CBH CO-OP. We are proud to serve you.
What CBH CO-OP Can Do for You A lot of folks know CBH for one thing. Propane. Fuel. Feed. Or a store they stop at regularly. What sometimes gets missed is that CBH was built to support people in more than one way. We deliver propane with local drivers who know the area and answer the phone when you call. We supply refined fuels for farms, ranches, businesses, and fleets that need things done on time. We support feed and agriculture with practical solutions built around real operations, not theory. And we run retail and travel centers that are clean, welcoming, and dependable, whether you are headed to work or headed home. Our goal is not to push more on you. It is to be a partner you can count on without having to think twice.
January Focus. Being Ready When Winter Pushes Back
Winter has a way of reminding all of us who is prepared and who is not. January is when reliability really shows itself. It shows up in propane deliveries that happen before tanks get low. It shows up in fuel sites that stay supplied even when weather makes things difficult. It shows up in feed deliveries that stay consistent. It shows up in stores that stay open and staffed when it would be easier to close the doors. Most of that work happens quietly. That is how it should be. When things run smoothly, it is because someone planned ahead.
Investing in Our Communities
CBH has always believed that strong communities matter. That belief goes beyond the services we provide. Through the CBH CO-OP Foundation and our local partnerships, we support food assistance programs, youth organizations, education, and community groups across the areas we serve. Every dollar stays local and goes toward people and programs that make a real difference. These are the same communities our employees live in. The same places our kids go to school. Supporting them is not an obligation. It is part of who we are. You can learn more at https://cbhcoopfoundation.org/
A Few Updates as the Year Gets Started
One of the biggest developments heading into 2026 is the new feed plant in Belle Fourche, SD. The plant is now fully operational and producing cattle cake. It was built to support local ranchers when they need it most, giving CBH CO-OP more control over quality, consistency, and availability during critical times of the year. Grain mixes will be added next, further expanding what we can offer and strengthening our ability to serve operations across the region. Our teams remain focused on winter operations across all divisions. Planning is also underway for additional projects and improvements later this year. We also want to thank everyone who took part in year end programs and promotions. Your support does not go unnoticed. If you are interested in our feed plant products, including cattle cake and mixed feeds contact us at 605-723-3333. We will continue to share updates as the year moves forward.
Looking Ahead
At CBH CO-OP, we believe consistency matters. Showing up matters. Doing what you say you are going to do matters. We will keep answering the phone. We will keep showing up when conditions are not ideal. We will keep doing the work that helps our members and customers move forward, season after season.
Here is to a solid start to 2026.
