This weekend in the theater! Belle Fourche High School’s Fall Production, Sense and Sensibility, Thursday, Friday, & Saturday at 7 PM. Directors Nathan Schreier & Allie Juso-Verry captured some photos from practice, revealing their versatile set and beautiful time-period costuming. Be sure to attend this classic story, retold in a humorous, engaging script brought to life by our own BFHS thespians!
The beautiful Belle Fourche schools honored Veterans this past week at three school programs and one Rolling Hills program on November 11th. The high school program honored Veterans at 9 AM in the Rec Center Theater, the elementary program at 11 AM, and the middle school program was at 2 PM in the BFMS gymnasium. Students and guest speakers patriotically celebrated with music, poetry, speeches, and veteran history. The high school program guest speaker was Kellen Willert, Lt. Colonel in the SD National Guard & local community volunteer who was also honored at the Middle School program as their Outstanding Veterans Day Supporter, which was a surprise presentation for him. Overall the beautiful weather on the day also meant a large attendance at the programs for all the schools as they said “Thank You” to all of our veterans.
