The Belle Fourche Middle School boasts a team of 35 wrestlers this year, 25 males and 10 females.
Their first meet was at Stagebarn Middle School on Monday November 3rd.
The middle school schedule runs from mid October when practice starts, through mid December with 9 meets on the schedule, ending with Black Hills Conference in Custer on December 11th. Coaches of the Bronc middle schoolers are Andrew Dighton, Slayter Nielsen, Bill Kirstine and Shawn Harris.
The Belle Fourche Middle School boasts a team of 38 wrestlers this year. 28 males and 10 females.
Their first meet was at Stagebarn Middle School on Monday November 3rd. The team had 4 practices before their first competition, which Coach Dighton mentioned was a tall ask for the newcomers to the sport.
For many, it was their first time stepping out on the mat for competition. The sport has really grown.

Coaches of the Bronc middle schoolers are Andrew Dighton and Slayter Nielsen with two volunteer coaches, Bill Kirstine and Shawn Harris. Coach Dighton says it is great to have two volunteer coaches this year with this great number of wrestlers. The season looks promising!
