BELLE FOURCHE—Every month, the Belle Fourche Chamber of Commerce gets all the businesses together to mix, mingle, and network with each other. This month, 605 Media and Entertainment partnered with the Belle Fourche Country Club to host the Chamber Mixer on October 16.

Eric Skavang, co-owner of 605 Media and Entertainment, shared a reel containing some of the projects his business has created. He informed everyone of what his business does. The media side of what we do is going to focus more on business-to-business—commercials, branding, content, things of that nature—and then we also do wedding entertainment: DJs, photo booths. We do live sound production (…) so if you’re hosting meetings that not everyone can attend, we’ll come in and do a live stream production on Facebook, YouTube, or wherever you like—so your guests can attend from anywhere!”

Casey Eggleston of the Belle Fourche Country Club took a few moments to let people know about changes at the Country Club. This year, we have our kitchen open all winter long, Wednesday through Friday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., and then on Sundays for brunch from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.,” he shared.
You dont have to be a member to enjoy the food at the Country Club.

It is time to renew memberships for 2026. If you buy your membership for 2026 before our annual meeting, which is November 15, you have a chance to win a free single membership. So that is a huge plus,” said Eggleston. Be watching our Facebook page for updates and events going on out here this winter—were going to be open a lot more and be involved!”

Both businesses handed out fun swag to all those who attended, including wine coolers, shoe bags, mini speakers, aluminum can koozies, and more. Door prizes were awarded at the end of the evening and included a gift basket, as well as a few polo shirts and caps from the Country Club.

Fruit, vegetables, meat and cheese, along with wings, were served throughout the evening.

During the event each month, there is a drawing for the monthly Collect and Connect,” where all of the Chamber membersnames are entered into a bucket and one member business is drawn to win. In order to win, the business must be present. The prize is up to $365. This months winner was David Pummel & Associates. No one from that business was at the event, so the prize pot will roll over to next month.
