BELLE FOURCHE—Belle Fourche Livestock Market, LLC held their anniversary BBQ sale on Thursday, September 4.
Travis Linch, Owner, invited the public out to celebrate the day and enjoy the new upgrades to the sale barn’s dining area. It was a goal for Linch, early on when taking over ownership of the Livestock Market, to remodel the kitchen. He shared that as a kid he had fond memories of how great the dining area was and that is was always full.
The anniversary BBQ was the perfect opportunity to share all of the recent renovations with the public. There are new counter tops, new flooring, new walls, new tables and chairs and so much more. It is a very clean and inviting area.
High Plains Restaurant and Bar out of Newell, SD catered the event. They brought beef, baked beans, macaroni and cheese and drinks.
An added treat was the selection of pies to choose from for dessert. Linch’s aunts made the pies for the special day. Shirley Bethancourt explained, “We just do it for Travis, he’s our nephew! We made 24 pies, my sister and I!” They each made 12 pies in just two days!
The celebration also brought a variety of vendors out for the customers and public to enjoy. Some of the invited vendors included, Piedmont Cutting Edge Meat Market, Inc., Rodeo Rigs, Logic Ag Marketing, Farm Credit, John Deere and Grossenburg.
