Last week’s announcement of the final Beacon edition brought about many responses and strong encouragement to continue the newspaper on.
There were words of encouragement to continue from advertisers who have found sales benefits from their printed promotions; Subscribers who wanted to itch in either willing to renew or who have enjoyed the Beacon and offered to subscribe for the first time; and also a group that has media publication experience understands the value of the weekly newspaper to the communities and trade area and is interested in continuing the Beacon.
Discussions to accomplish the transition are underway and further details will be shared as they develop.
This week and next will be online only editions and if desired printed copies can be made on legal size paper at the BF Chamber or Print Mark-et on State Street or on any computer at no cost from logging on to: www. bellefourchebeacon.com.
