Belle Fourche, SD — Whether you were raised on a ranch or have only seen tractors from a distance, Ag Day 2025 invites everyone to experience the rich agricultural heartbeat of western South Dakota.

Taking place Saturday, September 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Belle Fourche Roundup Grounds, this free community event is hosted by the Belle Fourche Chamber of Commerce and proudly sponsored by Wolff’s Plumbing and Heating.

Ag Day is more than just a showcase—it’s a celebration of the men and women who work the land, raise livestock, and contribute to the deeply rooted ag traditions that shape life in Butte County and beyond. From rugged ranchers to flower farmers, the event brings together a diverse mix of agricultural producers who embody the spirit and innovation of the region.

“Ag Day is about connection,” said a spokesperson from the Chamber. “It’s a way for the public to see firsthand the dedication behind our food, our landscapes, and our economy. It’s part educational, part celebration—and a whole lot of fun.”

Visitors can expect everything from modern farming equipment displays to local artisan goods, educational speakers, and booths highlighting unique farm operations across the region. Whether you’re curious about cattle or captivated by sunflowers, there’s something for all ages to enjoy.

The event is open to everyone, and families are especially encouraged to attend. Ag Day offers a rare opportunity to talk directly with local producers, learn about the challenges and triumphs of agricultural life, and celebrate a culture that has defined the area for generations.
