Merjil Signs to play softball at Heston College

Chloe Merjil, a 2025 graduate of Belle Fourche High School, signed with Hesston College in Hesston, Kansas July 18th.

Chloe received a scholarship to play softball and further her career and passion in the sport while majoring Exercise Science on a pre-physical therapy track. She plans to have a future career as a physical therapist.

Chloe is the daughter of Jeremy and Carie Merjil and sister to Lucila, Charlie and Jeremy Jr.

Chloe has been playing softball since she was 4 years old in California and state, “it has always been my dream to play softball in college.” She primarily plays catcher, but also can be found occasionally on 3rd base on her current teams and says she can play at any position! When asked her softball memory, she commented, “being a part of a team that has a great attitude and atmosphere.” Chloe is looking forward to being a Hesston Lark!
