BELLE FOURCHE—Take me out to the ballgame, take me out to the Chamber Mixer? That is just what the Belle Fourche Chamber of Commerce did for the June Chamber Mixer. It was held at the Black Hills Power Sports Complex in Spearfish on June 27.
Chamber members only were invited to a VIP experience at the Spearfish Sasquatch baseball game. The party deck was sectioned off for the VIPs and they had access to all of the hot dogs, brats, hamburgers and cheeseburgers they could eat. Water, lemonade and a cash bar was available to those who wanted it.
The Spearfish Sasquatch took on the Nebraska Prospects with the game starting promptly at 6:05 p.m. In the 7th inning, the game was called based on the mercy rule, when the home team went up by 10 points. The Sasquatch won 13-3. A Fireworks display was held after dark.
Chamber Executive Director, Michaela Horn made a list of all the businesses represented at the mixer and welcomed them individually while encouraging them to mix with each other and network. The Connect and Collect pot was at $320 and the business must be present to win it. The winner this month was CBH Cooperative, but they had no one present, so the money will roll over to next month.
iLevel Construction will host the next Chamber Mixer along with a ribbon cutting on July 24 beginning at 4:00 p.m.
