Conley P. Torgrude, age 91 of Belle Fourche, died Saturday, February 17, 2024 at the Belle Estate in Belle Fourche.

Conley Paul Torgrude was born September 24, 1932 in Arlington, South Dakota. He was the son of Melvin and Dorothny (Trumm) Torgrude. Conley served in the U.S. Navy. For many year he worked as a bus drive for the Belle Fourche School District. He also was a route salesman for Brown Swiss Dairy, selling all sorts of dairy products. One of them of course, was ice cream, and as a result his grandkids always called him “Ice Cream Grandpa”.
