NEWELL—The Newell Irrigators’ boys basketball team unfortunately came up with a loss on Thursday, Jan. 4 in a home game against Sundance’s Bulldogs.
The final score was 58-19. Senior James Duncan led the team in points scored, with 10 total.
The loss comes after a colossal win on Tuesday, Jan. 2, against the Oelrichs Tigers. The final score for that game was 51-22.
Their record is now 2-5.
The Irrigators will travel to New Underwood for their next game to face the Tigers on Tuesday, Jan. 23.
