The 24th Annual Festival of Trees, held Nov. 28 at the Belle Fourche Community Hall, raised more than $52,000 in donations to benefit area nonprofit efforts. In total, 14 trees, 14 wreaths, and approximately 50 smaller holiday displays were auctioned at the annual fundraiser. On Dec. 8, the donated funds were gifted to half a dozen local nonprofit entities to serve community members in need. Those nonprofits included Belle Silver Lining; St. Paul’s Annual Shopping Spree, hosted by Belle Fourche St. Paul Catholic Church; Beef to School program; Belle Fourche Ministerial Association Compassion Cupboard, Butte County Child Protection Team, and Belle Fourche Police Department.
