Belle City Liquor Privatization Begins

Belle Fourche News

Two Belle Fourche businesses began off-sale sales of Liquor on December 1st. Action the past couple months by the Belle Fourche City Council resulted in the privatization of Liquor Sales in the City of Belle Fourche. The Municipal owned and operated City off-sale liquor store was established back when licensing was first initiated in the days of Prohibition. Yesway, a Texas corporation purchased the inventory of the City’s Liquor business and is now operating from that location and Lynn’s Dakotamart on National Street were the two who began sales on December 1st. Yesway also plans to begin limited sales at its quick stop location on the corner of 5th and Summit Streets and CBH Coop plans to begin sales this week at their truck stop location at the intersection of Highways 85 & 212 in the present week. The Beacon is working on an additional story on this change in public policy.
