Broncs Soccer Players Named to All State Teams

Two Belle Fourche Broncs varsity soccer players were recently named to the All-State Class A soccer squads. Midfielder Drake Sutter, a junior was named to the first team all-state while senior defender Ethan Staley was tabbed on the honorable mention team.

Sutter has been on the Broncs since 7th grade and became a starter in his 8th grade year. An able scorer as well as passer, Drake was a force to be reckoned with for Lucas Trimble’s team. Drake is also involved with club soccer and has played with the South Dakota United team for several years. He is the son of Paul and Beth Sutter.

Staley has been responsible for leading the defensive effort starting for the Broncs since the 9th grade. Along with his older brother Anthony, who graduated last year, Ethan has been a mainstay for Belle to help keep the opposing team out of the net. He is the son of Jesse and Danielle Staley.
