Battery Bonanza: Members of the Belle Fourche Fire Department were on hand Friday to pick up the large collection of batteries from local Family Dollar Store. Pictured from left are:
Aaron Thrammer, Family Dollar Store Manager, Jada Udaker, Andy Anderson, and Cory Charmichael. Family Dollar is part of a store region that runs from Illinois to Colorado. In their region they were the number one battery donation store with the exception of just a few days. Two large boxes of the donated batteries were turned over for use by the Department. The Bonanza continues till the end of the month. Jada said she was overwhelmed by the communities willingness to participate in supporting the local fire department. Beacon photo
