Participants in the 2026 Fort Robinson Spiritual Run spent the night Saturday, January 10 at AmericInn with dinner provided by local sponsors.
Dinner sponsors were Americinn, Lynn’s Dakotamart, Lueder’s Food Center, and the Butte County Historical Society.
The runners departed Belle Sunday morning. Official organization is Yellow Bird Lifeways Center of the Northern Cheyenne Nation.
Chief Phillip Whiteman, Jr. is the founder of the run which is now in its 30th year.
The annual 400 mile run begins at Fort Robinson, Nebraska and ends at Busby, Montana, Fort Robinson.
