BELLE FOURCHE—The holiday spirit was on full display at the November Chamber Mixer. Prairie Hills Pharmacy welcomed both local chamber members and the general public to their store for the Mixer on November 20.
Attendees were greeted with Christmas music and a healthy offering of charcuterie cups and dips that included fruits, vegetables, meats and cheeses. For drinks, attendees could choose from mango punch or hot cocoa that included a scoop or two of Crazee Cow peppermint ice cream.
The store offered special looks on men’s jewelry, new Navajo jewelry, and kids holiday clothing. A large selection of snow globes, slippers and tote bags can be found here!
If you missed out on the special night, you get another opportunity to shop and enjoy a fun night at Prairie Hills Pharmacy because they are having Ladies Night Out on Thursday, December 4, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Enjoy hors d’oeuvres and drinks while you shop!
The mixer is a great monthly opportunity to network with other business owners and community members. Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce Michaela Horn was on hand to welcome everyone and remind them of all the happenings in Belle this month. “Thank you so much for coming out tonight! We know there are some other events going on at the moment, so we’re excited that you’re here with us,” she said.
The Connect and Collect drawing is one of the highlights of the gathering each month. It was started last year and you have to be a chamber member to win. Chamber members are asked to sign in at each mixer to receive an extra entrance into the monthly drawing. If the winner isn’t present at the meet-up, the money rolls over to the next month. The pot is currently $365.
The November winner was Belle Chiropractic. There was no one from that business at the mixer, so the pot goes to the December mixer.
The December mixer will be held Wednesday, December 3, at Grossenburg Implement. The mixer is from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m., with Grossenburg’s annual Ladies Night happening the same night from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
