High Plains Restaurant and Nisland Farm Fresh Market teamed up in May to support Newell School District families by collecting donations to cover unpaid school lunch balances.

Together, they raised over $385, a meaningful step toward easing the burden for local students and parents.

“This isn’t about handouts— it’s about giving a hand up,” said one organizer. “Every dollar shows our kids that their community cares.”

The Newell Booster Club accepted the donation on behalf of the Newell School District.

High Plains and Nisland Farm Fresh Market are proud to support our community and school, one meal, one act of kindness at a time.
