by Melanie Aker BELLE FOURCHE-Coffee and Cars made their way to Belle Fourche June 7th.
The car rally at Pioneer Bank & Trust parking lot took place Satuday 9 am to 11 am.
The parking lot overflowed onto the adjoining State, Harding, & 7th Streets. They were filled with cars from all eras, showcasing them to the community for their enjoyment.
The mixing of all eras helps eliminate divides within the car enthusiast community, according to Alicia, who travels through the Black Hills to help host the event alongside her husband and colleague, Dustie.
They all share a passion for working on and showcasing their vehicles at the show and enjoy gathering with others who share that passion.
They gave thanks to Wild Magnolia, Pioneer Bank and Trust, and C.O.N.B.A for sponsoring the event in Belle Fourche.
The hosts gave out free Hot Wheels for children, and it was great to see kids running to pose in front of any vehicle that caught their eye.
It is clear when speaking with a few of the people showcasing their cars and trucks that they have a great deal of affection for them and the hard work that goes into them. They demonstrate this through the time, energy, and money they invest in creating and maintaining their prized projects.
Many owners were sitting or standing near their vehicles, sharing their enjoyment and knowledge with others.
