Belle Fourche’s newest pizza place celebrated the official opening of its doors on Saturday, May 3 with its Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting. Michaela Horn, Director of the Chamber of Commerce brought the ceremonial ribbon for the event, and at 10:30 a.m., Jessica Work and Cory Auwerter cut it. “We look forward to being your guys’ number one pizza place, and we just really appreciate you guys,” Work said to the crowd.
After the ribbon cutting, the Grand Opening celebration commenced. Locals could order discounted pizzas, draw from a stack of prize slips in hopes of receiving free pizza for a year, and spin a Domino’s prize wheel with items like sunglasses, lollipops, and even a free 16-piece order of parmesan bites.
Work credits Director of Operations Anna Schancer for helping her come up with ideas for planning the event. “She helped me, honestly, with a lot of this. So I give her a lot of credit,” said Work. “And then I have a support team from my business partner’s side. They’ve honestly really helped me with a lot of great ideas. My husband, and my team—I actually have employees here from Box Elder, from when I was general manager helping us—so just a lot of people helping out.”
“We’re just really happy with everyone being here,” Work said.
