Unified Relay Race at Northern Hills Invite

On Tuesday April 29th at the Northern Hills Invite in Belle Fourche, a Unified Relay race was held during the meet. This race consisted of two teams running a 4×100 with two members of the Belle Fourche High School track team and two members from the Special Olympics program to form each relay team. Each team was co-ed and each leg alternated between members from each athletic program.

Teams consisted of, Rhys Pearson in leg one for team one, followed by Fara Bricker in leg two, then Kashton Le LaCheur, in leg three, and racing to the finish line as the anchor for team one was Trystin Newsome. For team two leg one, Payton Jackson led, followed by Logan Carson in leg two, then Kailey Nowowiejski in leg three, and the anchor for team two was Emma Juelfs.
