Newell Community Club Egg Hunt

Newell News

NEWELL-The Newell football field was alive with youngsters ready to fill bags and buckets with the plaatic eggs scattered throughout the field.

Every year the Newell Community Club works diligently to fill the eggs with goodies for the children of the area. But who has more fun-parents and grandparents or the kiddos themselves?

It was a beautiful morning to run around the field to find the perfecrt egg. As the car horn blew, big kids and little ones took off for the prize.

It was amazing to watch the littlest ones. Some knew what to do, others stood and watched, and others-urged on by the grownups-realized what the goal was.

The older ones took off with a dash and ran the length of the field while some eggs laid right in front of them. All in all, it was a great day for an egg hunt-bright and sunny.

The hard work of the Community Club once again brought smiles and laughter to the youngsters of the NVN area.
