Chris Heino, EOS Implementer, presented the Lunch & Learn to local business owners this month.

Lunch & Learn: EOS

Belle Fourche News

The Belle Fourche Chamber of Commerce hosted a Lunch & Learn on Wednesday, April 9 at Belle Fourche Development Corporation. Chris Heino, EOS Implementer, presented “Get a Grip on Your Business: Six Keys to Getting What You Want from Your Entrepreneurial Company” to a group of local business owners. The Chamber of Commerce provided Subway for lunch.

EOS, which stands for Entrepreneurial Operating System, is a framework that businesses can use to help achieve their goals and run effectively. Heino described the EOS Model, which is made up of “Six Key Components”: Vision, Traction, People, Process, Data, and Issues. Each component provides a lens for business owners to meet their goals and ultimately grow their business. Heino handed out a booklet with interactive worksheets and attendees followed along with the presentation. At one point, business owners were instructed to write down their 10-year goals; then, everyone shared their goals with each other and Heino provided feedback.

The EOS Model is based on the book Traction by Gino Wickman, which Heino also handed out free copies of to anyone who wanted one.

This month’s Lunch & Learn was the last of the season. Lunch & Learns will return in September.
