BELLE FOURCHE—Pasque Ladies Fashions transformed from a store front to a Paris style fashion show complete with models and a runway on the evening of April 3.

Michelle Evans, Owner thought of everything needed to truly pamper the attendees and provide them with a special experience. As one entered through the front door, a drink choice of sparkling cider, lemon drop or martini was offered and quickly delivered to your seat. A festive container of meats and cheeses, as well as crackers, pretzels and fruit was provided along with a second container of bite-sized desserts.

Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce, Michaela Horn, was the announcer for the evening. She welcomed everyone to the Spring Fashion Show as she kicked off the first round of fashions. “Tonight we’re not just showing our clothes; we are celebrating style, confidence and some of the strong, amazing women that make Belle Fourche shine,” she said.

This was the second time Evans put together a fashion show to highlight some of the new in store styles for the upcoming season. Last fall she put together an elaborate fall fashion showcase. It was such a hit the community was asking for another.

A few of the models came back to lend a hand from the previous fashion show, but over half of them were new to the runway. Evans recruited area women to help model Pasque Ladies Fashions spring inventory. “Woman that are active in the community, shop here, friends, just lively— a lot of them are actually on the chamber board,” explained Evans. Models taking part in the show were Julie Snoozy, Melissa Scofield, Cassie Pannone, Michelle Jensen, MiKayla Boswell, Deb Elliott, Kenzie Hennessey, Tonya Onstott, and Pat Main.

Each model came out in a different outfit four times. Between each round Horn gave away door prizes. The first door prize was a dozen eggs! A variety of items were up for grabs including candles, jewelry, and clothing—all items you can find at Pasque.

The crowd was lively and the models had a good time. They were playful and fun, often posing and dancing down the runway. “Everybody’s ready for spring and summer and I think that this time was definitely more relaxed—the first time (fall) people didn’t know what was happening,” said Evans. “There was definitely a lot more hooping and hollering and I think color really makes people come alive too!”

Gayleen Raber attended the fall fashion show and really enjoyed the spring one as well. “I thought this year was way more relaxed and fun!”

Another repeat fashion show attendee, Marcia Osloond, said, “I think the colors, the bright spring colors made it fun too because it’s more colorful! It was fun, we will do it again!”

Following the fashion show the chairs were moved and the attendees were given a chance to socialize and shop the new styles they just saw going down the runway. $10.00 off coupons were provided in gift bags for each paid ticket. Tickets were limited.
