The 8th Annual Miss Black Hills Roundup Queen Pageant will be held on June 30 at the Christian Life Center and the Black Hills Roundup Grounds with the coronation to be held on July 1 before the Black Hills Roundup Ranch Rodeo.
The contestants will be vying for the title, crown, buckle, saddle and other prizes.
Black Hills Roundup Queen contest was created in 2018. Miss Black Hills Roundup, Jr. Miss Black Hills Roundup, Black Hills Roundup Princess are titles for young women to promote the Black Hills Roundup, Belle Fourche, SD and the spirit and sport of rodeo.
The ladies will promote the sport of rodeo, Black Hills Roundup and engage in community events in which the Black Hills Roundup Committee endorses.
Age divisions: (as of Jan. 1st, 2025) Senior: 18 to 26; Junior: 13 to 17; and Princess: 12 & under.
No Residential Restrictions
Individuals chosen for the titles should be prepared to attend all appearances and events during the Black Hills Roundup Celebration week and events throughout the year.
The Black Hills Roundup Committee is confident that the individuals chosen to represent this rodeo will honorably represent with their vast knowledge, horsemanship and will continue to strive to learn more about their western heritage.
Awards are given for speech, appearance/modeling, photogenic, horsemanship along with titles. Saddles to the winners in all three divisions.
