March Family Fun Day

Belle Fourche News Events

The Tri-State Museum & Visitor Center hosted its March Family Fun Day on Sunday, March 16. Twenty-six participants showed up for “Planting, Posies and Pasque Flowers.” Activities for the day included a film about flowers; a short power point about South Dakota’s state flower, the pasque; the opportunity to craft suncatchers and paper flowers; a planting table; and a drawing for a book and a kids’ gardening set. For the planting table, each participant got to plant seeds in a planter pot and then take home their pot along with the rest of the seeds.

There will be no Family Fun Day in April due to Easter. The next Family Fun Day will be May 18 with the theme “Viva, Mexico!”

Family Fun Days are held on the third Sunday of each month from 2 to 4 p.m. Admission is $2 without a membership and free for members, and reservations can be made by calling 605-723-1200.
