Karen Holzer, Executive Director, will be retiring in 2024. She will remain on the staff as a part time Communications and Outreach Coordinator until December 31, 2024.
Karen notes, “I have been most privileged to have held the position of the Executive Director since March 2017. During this time, I have met and worked with great individuals, saw financial and operational goals realized, and gained knowledge about nonprofits, friends groups, conservation programs and the USFWS. I am pleased to have had the opportunity to interact with the Spearfish community members, regional tourism groups, and our wonderful volunteers, both our traveling RVers and local individuals.”
